Macy's to hire 83,000 for holidays

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Macy's hosted a seasonal hiring fair at all of its stores across the country Friday.

The department store chain plans to hire 83,000 workers for the holidays. More than 2,000 of those positions are in the Chicago area, northwest Indiana and southern Wisconsin.
