CHICAGO (WLS) -- Spring doesn't officially Begin until March 20, but you can see the season in full bloom at Navy Pier beginning March 12.
The Chicago Flower & Garden Show, presented by Mariano's, features wall-to-wall gardens and breathtaking floral displays. The show provides a rare, early opportunity to see new varieties of flowers, edibles and other plants and experience unique gardens by top designers. This year, the Chicago Flower & Garden Show is presenting a brand new experience: Kehoe Designs is creating one-of-a-kind technology plantscapes.
At the newly-expanded Kids Activity Garden, kids can design and build a biodegradable planting pot, dissect flowers, do projects to learn about symmetry to flowers, and create garden-inspired designs. There are also plenty of hands-on programs and learning experiences for avid adult gardeners too.
Tony Abruscato from the Chicago Flower & Garden Show and Ryan McEnany from Bailey Nurseries joined ABC 7 live from the show.
