Chicago sports history up for auction

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (WLS) -- A stockpile of Chicago sports history is going on the auction block.

A former Chicago drugstore owner is putting more than 800 pieces of sports memorabilia up for sale in Scottsdale, Ariz.

His company worked with the Cubs, Bulls, Blackhawks and bears more than 30 years ago.

Items include a basketball signed by the 1992 world champion Bulls, boxing shorts signed by Muhammed Ali and a baseball glove signed by Ty Cobb and Mel Ott.

The auction runs through Friday.
