CHICAGO (WLS) -- A line of quick-moving thunderstorms blew out of downtown Chicago before the Blackhawks parade and rally began Thursday morning, though some fans who arrived early did get caught in the rain.
City officials asked fans who had gathered at Soldier Field to stay off the infield and seek shelter. The storm blew over by 9:15 a.m. and was followed by sun.
The Chicago Blackhawks parade and rally, which drew an estimated 2 million fans to the Loop and Museum Campus, began at 10 a.m.
