Coca-Cola workers vote to authorize strike at Niles, Alsip plants

NILES, Ill. (WLS) -- A possible strike is bubbling up at two suburban Coca-Cola plants. Union workers in Niles and Alsip voted to authorize a strike against the beverage giant.

Members of Teamsters Local 727 could hit the picket lines by Wednesday morning. Their contract expires Tuesday at midnight.
