Assyrian American Association celebrates 100th anniversary in Chicago

The Assyrian American Association celebrated its 100th anniversary in Chicago during an event Sunday night.

ABC7 reporter/anchor Diane Pathieu emceed the event, which honored a long tradition of music and dance.

The association started as a place to unite immigrants from Middle Eastern countries and has blossomed into a community group focused on helping Chicago residents.
