CHICAGO (WLS) -- The 27th Annual First Look for Charity gives donors a sneak peek at the the Chicago Auto Show's collection ahead of the public opening.

More than 100 chefs will serve up their mouth-watering recipes for guests to enjoy, according to Chicago Auto Show Chairman John Hennessy. There will also be plenty to drink. Perhaps most enticing, two ticket holders will go home with a new ride, thanks to the Chicagoland Ford Dealers Association and Ford Motor Company.

But most important to Hennessy is the impact the event has had in Chicagoland over a quarter century, raising close to $50 million for local organizations.

"There's no better feeling in the world than knowing that you've helped somebody," Hennessy said.

The event is Friday, February 9, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at McCormick Place. You can buy tickets for $275 at FirstLookForCharity.org.
