Danny Glover speaks at Rainbow PUSH convention

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The 47th annual Rainbow PUSH Coalition convention continued Friday. Among the speakers was Danny Glover, who is known for his activism when he's not acting.

Participants held discussions about Nelson Mandela and topics related to politics, such as voting.

The theme for this year convention is "Make American Fair & Equal: 2018 Global Agenda."

Convention events run through Saturday.
