Hundreds take part in A Safe Haven Foundation's Walk and Run to End Homelessness

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Hundreds of people braved the heat for a Walk and Run to End Homelessness.

The Safe Haven event kicked off at Montrose Harbor Saturday morning.

ABC7's Dionne Miller was the emcee and Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot was on hand to encourage the runners.
