USO Star-Spangled Salute Gala held Saturday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Hundreds gathered on Navy Pier Saturday night for the USO's annual Star-Spangled Salute Gala.

The gala raised funds to support USO programs that help local members of the military and their families.

Guests of honor included Susan Schneider Williams, the widow of comedian Robin Williams, who was a great advocate for the USO.

ABC7 was a proud sponsor of the event.
