Wildlife experts say to expect more sightings of coyotes during winter

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Expect to see more sightings of coyotes around the Chicago area, especially this winter.

Local wildlife experts say young coyotes are leaving their parents to find mates and their own territory.

They say people see more coyotes in winter because there's less vegetation to hide them and snow makes them easier to spot. This doesn't mean there's a rise in the coyote population
