At least 6 injured in Palos Heights crash

PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. (WLS) -- At least six people were transported to a local hospital Sunday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in southwest suburban Palos Heights.

The crash around 1:30 p.m. Sunday near 143rd Street and Harlem Avenue left at least three of the victims in critical condition.

When first responders arrived, they found several people trapped inside a van.

There is no word what caused the crash.
