'Cycle for Survival' cyclists battle rare cancers
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Cyclists in Chicago are coming together to beat rare cancers on Feb. 20-21.
The Cycle for Survival raises money for research led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Every dollar raises goes to the cause.
Instructors from Equinox, Cycle for Survival's founding partner, lead participants at the high-energy indoor cycling event.
There is music, dancing, and inspiring stories to help the cyclists race to the finish. Thanks to support from founding partner Equinox, Cycle for Survival has raised more than $90 million since 2007.
Three-time cancer survivor Betty Hosteny, and Co-Founder for Cycle for Survival Dave Linn, joined ABC 7 Eyewitness News live from Equinox the Loop to talk about the Cycle for Survival and how it helps.
