Aurora police hold vigil for Dallas police officers

AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- A prayer vigil was held Tuesday night by the Aurora Police Department to honor the fallen and wounded Dallas Police officers.

The vigil comes after an ambush sniper attack on Dallas Police during a peaceful protest in downtown Dallas that left five officers killed and others injured.

Officers sent their condolences to the victims and their families.

The Dallas Police Department said they appreciate the cards, flowers and kind words following the attack.
