Dancing with the Pastors
Former Chicago Luvabulls lead choreographer Kim Tyler, and Endure, a non-profit performing arts organization, are hosting the "Dancing with the Pastors" benefit.

CHICAGO -- Former Chicago Luvabulls lead choreographer Kim Tyler, of of K.K. Tyler Entertainment, and Endure, a non-profit performing arts organization, are hosting the "Dancing with the Pastors" benefit on Friday.

The benefit stars Pastor John F. Hannah, Senior Pastor of New Life Covenant, home for more than 19,000 members; Bishop Larry Trotter, Senior Pastor of Sweet Holy Spirit, home for more than 10,000 members; Pastor Corey Brooks, Senior Pastor and founder for New Beginnings Church of Chicago, home for more than 2,500 members and Pastor Mark Smith, Senior Pastor and founder of the fresh new APOC Church.

Pastor Brooks has been appointed to be a member of the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority board. Pastor Smith is the Inspirations 1390's radio host for the Angela & Mark in the AM show.

The benefit also features, Bishop Dwight Young, Pastor Phil Jackson, Rev. Melody Seaton, Rev. Dernard Newell, Rev. Vanessa Monroe, Apostle Derrick White, Rev. Dr. Ozzie Smith, Pastor Roosevelt Bradley, Rev. Albert D. Tyson, III, and Pastor William Hall.

"Dancing with the Pastors" will be hosted by Windy City Live's own Val Warner. The benefit includes various entertainment personalities and community leaders as guest judges.

Participants will compete in genres, such as ballroom, contemporary, and hip-hop dances to save a life and take the stage for a cause. Pastors will demonstrate their moves alongside professional dancers on TV.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Friday The event will start at 7:30 p.m.
