Des Plaines crosswalk crash victim dies

DES PLAINES, Ill. (WLS) -- A woman critically injured in a crash last week in suburban Des Plaines has died in the hospital Monday.

Irma Diaz, 69, was in a crosswalk when she was struck by a driver last Thursday.

Hours later on the same day, a driver hit two bicyclists in the same crosswalk. They both survived.
