CHICAGO (WLS) -- A southern Illinois judge is once again delaying Drew Peterson's murder-for-hire trial.

The former Bolingbrook police officer is accused of trying to hire a fellow inmate to kill the Will County State's Attorney who helped convict him in his ex-wife's death.

The trial was scheduled to begin in August, but the judge delayed it until November.

Peterson's attorneys want to hire an expert to review taped conversations between Peterson and an informant.
