CHICAGO (WLS) -- There's no strike coming, but the Chicago Teacher's Union is joining more than 100 organizations for a huge May 1 march.

The Chicago May Day Coalition will bring together thousands of workers, immigrants and CPS teachers.

Organizers said the march will focus on higher wages, immigration rights and education funding. It kicks off Monday at 1 p.m. with a rally in Union Park.

The group will then march to the Daley Center for another rally.
