WASHINGTON (WLS) -- First Lady Michelle Obama honored more than a dozen after-school programs at the White House Tuesday.
Mrs. Obama calling the group of honorees, "the next generation of fabulous."
Each program receiving an award will also get a $10,000 grant.
During her speech the first lady called for the funding of arts and humanities programs to continue, saying they teach students problem solving, teamwork and discipline.
