PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Ill. (WLS) -- A suburban catholic school's fight to stay open has ended in success.

The Chicago Archdiocese says St. Alphonsus Ligouri in Prospect Heights met enrollment and fundraising goals to stay open next year.

The Archdiocese said the school has 135 students enrolled for next year and raised $400,000.
