CHICAGO (WLS) -- Eleven "underperforming" Einstein Bros. Bagels stores in the Chicago area closed for good on Tuesday.

The Einstein Noah Restaurant Group said 39 Einstein Bros. Bagels stores are closing nationwide because they are not making enough money.

The good news is not all Chicago area stores are closing. The company said it will "focus on its high-performing restaurants to ensure the future growth and success of the business."
