Fiesta del Sol runs through Sunday in Pilsen

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Fiesta del Sol, the largest Latino festival in the Midwest, is underway in the Pilsen neighborhood through Sunday. This year's theme is "Immigration: Una Lucha por Igualdad."

Funds from the family-friendly festival support the Pilsen Neighbors Community Council's annual scholarship program, community organizing and educational programs. The event started 43 years ago.

Event co-chairs Tanya Cabrera and Jonathan Lopez spoke to ABC7 from the event Saturday morning.
