Great America lifeguards enter lip sync contest

GURNEE, Ill. (WLS) -- Lifeguards from across the country, including here in the Chicago area, are being told to "shut up and dance."

Lifeguards from Hurricane Harbor at Six Flags Great America entered their video into a lip syncing contest called the "Lifeguard Surf N' Turf Showdown".

The contest is sponsored by Good Morning America and the top prize is $10,000.

The lifeguards from Gurnee said they'll donate the money to charity if they win.
