Creed stars stop by South Loop school
Two of the stars and the director of the movie "Creed" presented a check to Jones College Prep for helping them spread the message of the film.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- It was quite an after-school extracurricular. Two of the stars and the director of the movie "Creed," the latest installment of the "Rocky" film franchise, presented a check to Jones College Prep for helping them spread the message of the film: #fightfor. The tour is selecting North American schools who are sharing the values they fight for in creative ways. Here at Jones, it was a mural.

"Creed" stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed, son of Apollo Creed, Rocky Balboa's opponent in many of the iconic films. Young Creed enlists Rocky to help him become the boxer his father was. Tessa Thompson, seen last year in the movie "Selma," plays the film's love interest.
