This week in 'Star Wars' News: Darth Vader at home and a LEGO trailer!

We're less than a month away from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but fan excitement for the movie is still at intergalactic heights. With new footage from the film, funny fan trailers and even a Star Wars themed jumbo jet, this week was definitely a busy one in that galaxy far, far away.

Here's what happened this week in Star Wars:

  • Finn (played by John Boyega) showed of his lightsaber moves and talks with Han Solo in this TV spot featuring new footage from the film.

  • WIRED unveiled its Star Wars cover for their new issue, featuring the glorious Millennium Falcon flying over Jakku. WIRED is also chock full of Star Wars goodies, including a great interview with legendary Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan.

  • Crew on the USS Dwight D Eisenhower made their own Navy-fied version of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser.

  • Harrison Ford surprised fans during a live video chat to promote a new charity initiative with Omaze. The actor even told one Chewbacca-loving fan that he would introduce her to his wookie pal.

  • Polish photographer Pawel Kadysz imagined what the daily, normal life of Darth Vader would look like in a funny new photo series.

  • A long, long time ago in a cardboard galaxy far, far away, Star Wars superfans created a funny, low-budget version of the new trailer.

  • The trailer also got the LEGO treatment, with Finn, Rey and Han Solo all channeling their best brick personalities.

  • Star Wars took to the skies in this intergalactic-themed flight. An All Nippon Airways aircraft was decorated like R2-D2 and styled with plenty of Star Wars goodies for a promotional event for the movie on Nov. 12. It's unclear though if the plane can make the kessel run in less than 12 parsecs.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18.
