Unexpected guest: Bear in swimming pool

It was quite a Father's Day surprise for a family in New Jersey.

The McNeill family was hoping to enjoy a relaxing Sunday around their pool, when they noticed they had an uninvited guest. It was a large black bear doing the doggie paddle in their backyard pool.

The family was in Mendham, about 50 miles west of New York City. The bear enjoyed a nice relaxing swim, even played with some of the pool equipment, then shook himself off and headed down the street.

Residents in the neighborhood say bears have visited their area recently.
