CHICAGO (WLS) -- Community leaders are offering up some financial motivation to find the man who shot and killed a South Side store clerk.

JQuinn McCune, 30, was killed trying to stop a robbery at the Family Dollar store in Auburn Gresham earlier this month.

Police released surveillance images of the man responsible and community leaders are offering a $6,000 reward for anyone who has information that will lead to an arrest.

"When you don't say anything and you know something, you put everybody else's life at risk too," said Father Pfleger. "That person does not shoot just one time, they keep shooting and they keep killing."

Police believe the same man is connected to several other robberies on the South Side.
