'Chicago Plays' program opens new playlot on NW Side

CHICAGO -- Children on Chicago's Northwest Side have a new playground after Mayor Rahm Emanuel cut the ribbon on the new Brynford Playlot Sunday.

It's located in the 5600 block of North Pulaski in the North Park neighborhood.

The playlot is one of 103 across the city to be refurbished under the mayor's "Chicago Plays" program to make safer places for kids to play.
