Kenosha dad surprises kids after 8 months in Afghanistan

KENOSHA, Wis. (WLS) -- Two siblings in Kenosha, Wis., got a big surprise when their soldier father showed up to their class on Wednesday.

Kaya and Jacob Prahl were doing some quiet reading in class when Jacob couldn't believe his eyes. He taps his sister on the shoulder, she turns around, and there's dad!

"Your hair looks grayer!" Jacob said, after a big hug.

Jim Prahl just returned from an 8-month deployment in Afghanistan, where he serves as a critical care physician.
