SPRING GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- A corn maze in north suburban Spring Grove is boldly going where no man has gone before.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first episode of "Star Trek" hitting the small screen, Richardson Adventure Farm created an out-of-this-world design.

The farm's website said the maze features five games winding through 33 acres of live corn. The shortest game takes only 10-20 minutes, while the longest lasts about two hours.

Richardson Adventure Farm is located at 909 English Prairie Road in Spring Grove. General admission to the farm is $16 for people age 13 and up, $13 for children ages 4-12 and kids ages 3 and under get in for free. Group rates are also available. Check out the farm's website for hours of operation.

This isn't the first time Richardson Adventure Farm wowed the Chicago area with cool design. When the Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup in 2015, the corn maze was quickly changed to celebrate the team's victory.
