Food drive for veterans returns to Bridgeview
BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (WLS) -- The 7th annual Veteran's Food Drive is begins on Nov. 21. This year, the drive hopes to provide Thanksgiving meals to 1,000 Chicago-area veterans and their families. The group Cruising for a Cause collaborates with businesses, clubs, schools, and churches to collect non-perishable food items. The food is then packed into up to 8 baskets per veteran over a two day period.
