Chicago's Alinea tops TripAdvisor's best fine dining restaurants list

Alinea in Chicago was named the No. 1 fine dining restaurant in the U.S. by TripAdvisor travelers.

The travel site's "Traveler's Choice Award" notes that Alinea chef Grant Achatz has revamped the 10-year-old restaurant's interior and touts its popular menu.

Victoria and Albert's in Orlando, Fla., was named No. 2 for fine dining, followed by Per Se in New York City.
