Jewel pulls parmesan cheese over cellulose concerns

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Jewel-Osco is pulling a brand of parmesan cheese from its shelves over concerns about what's inside.

An FDA report showed jars of Essential Everyday parmesan cheese contained 8.8 percent cellulose, an anti-clumping agent made of wood. That's more than twice the acceptable level.
