CHICAGO -- A popular River North restaurant shut down last week over safety concerns is being allowed to re-open.
The Nouveau Tavern can reopen for dinner starting Thursday night.
A Cook County judge shut the business down last week after neighbors made several complaints about fights and loud music.
While the tavern can serve food, it can't act as a nightclub. That means DJs can't play and the business must shut down earlier than normal.
Both sides are due back in court April 30th.
