CHICAGO (WLS) -- Starbucks is expanding beer and wine sales at its coffee shops.

After several years of testing alcohol sales at select stores, Starbucks will begin selling beer and wine at close to 100 locations throughout the U.S. this week.

They will also offer evening menu items such as truffle mac and cheese and bacon-wrapped dates.

Starbucks has been testing alcohol sales at select stores in the Chicago area since 2012.
