SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- There's a new food festival coming to the Chicago area featuring some of the flavors of Korea with a fusion of other Asian cultures. The Taste of Korea Chicago Festival is August 5-6, 2017 at the Old Orchard Mall Shopping Center in Skokie. Visitors will get to try authentic Korean food, beverages and desserts. For entertainment, K-pop rap stars Gemini and Apollo headline the main event on Saturday night. There are also traditional and contemporary performances, martial arts demonstrations, and even a dance battle. Lily Kim from the Taste of Korea Chicago Festival, Mike Chang from Noori Chicken ), and June Im from BDG Gastropub visited the ABC 7 State Street Studios to give us a taste of the upcoming festival.

Main Event will feature Gemini and Apollo, two Kpop Rap stars from California. They've toured all over the US and Europe. It's free to watch them, but those who purchase the Meet and Greet ($35) will have VIP seating and there's also an intimate After Party ($45) with them at JieYi Sushi Asian Lounge.
