WILLOWBROOK, Ill. (WLS) -- A grocery store's big move means a big donation for a suburban food bank.

Whole Foods Market celebrated the opening of a brand new store in Willowbrook this morning.

They had to leave about $150,000 worth of food behind at the old store. Instead of throwing it away, the store donated it all to the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

Along with the food bank donation, Whole Foods also donated $2,000 to a local elementary school for the creation of an edible food garden.
