Free gelato giveaway at Millennium Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Free pints of gelato were handed out Tuesday afternoon at Millennium Park.

The giveaway by Talenti, which lasted until supplies run out, was held just west of Pritzker Pavilion, 201 E. Randolph St.

Flavors included cinnamon peach biscuit, double dark chocolate and Alphonso mango sorbetto. About 20,000 pints were expected to be given out.

The gelato was given away before the park's free screening of the "La La Land" movie, which started at 6:30 p.m. at Jay Pritzker Pavilion.
