ROSELLE, Ill. (WLS) -- A Roman Catholic priest convicted of gambling away parish funds is accused of not re-paying the money.

Rev. John Regan will face a judge in April, where prosecutors will ask to have his probation revoked.

He pleaded guilty in 2011 to theft charges after gambling and losing $300,000 from Saint Walter's in Roselle.

He was sentenced to four years probation and ordered to pay the money back.

Prosecutors say Regan hasn't done that, but Regan's attorney claims his client has been on time with his payments.
