VISALIA, Calif. -- Visalia Fire Department rescued a man who had fallen into a garbage truck Thursday morning.
According to officials, they received a call at 5:30 a.m. about a man who had fallen into a garbage truck after he had been sleeping inside a trash bin. Crews were able to safely remove the man from the truck using the basket and ladder from the fire engine.
The man sustained moderate injuries, officials said.
