CHICAGO (WLS) -- Garfield Park will reopen to the public on Monday, more than one week after the remains of a toddler were found in the lagoon.

The lagoon was drained so investigators could search for other remains, but nothing was found, officials said. A dam built to help in the draining process will be released Monday. The lagoon may take some time to fill depending on when and how much rain comes this way.

A toddler's head and foot were found in the water the weekend of September 5. DNA and forensic testing are underway to try and determine that child's identity.
