Waukegan death ruled homicide after body found in road

WAUKEGAN, Ill. (WLS) -- Waukegan police are looking for the person who killed a man and left his body in the middle of the road.

The body was found near 9th and Prescott in the north suburb just before 3 a.m. Saturday.

The victim is identified as 49-year-old Gaylord Davis.

Investigators have ruled the death a homicide.

Anyone with information is being asked to call police.
