Car hits hydrant, rupturing water main in Glenview

GLENVIEW, Ill. (WLS) -- A car struck a fire hydrant and ruptured a water main Friday afternoon in north suburban Glenview.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, where water was rushing into the intersection at Waukegan Road and Chestnut.

So far, no injuries have been reported.
