SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- One million dollars has been donated for the restoration of the crumbling governor's mansion in Springfield.
However, there's still a long way to go.
The 160-year old mansion was once opulent and now it has serious problems - leaky roof, flooded basement and peeling paint.
An estimated $12 million is needed to fix everything.
