Bomb-sniffing TSA dog missing from suburban Alsip

ALSIP, Ill. (WLS) -- A TSA dog trained in explosive detection for the Amtrak Police Department that went missing Saturday morning was found in suburban Crestwood, officials said on Sunday.

The German shepherd went missing from its handler's home in south suburban Alsip, and was found in neighboring Crestwood.

Hako, which has a tattoo in its ear that reads "W204," is friendly. The dog went missing from their handler near the intersection of 119th and Pulaski.

The dog belongs to the Transportation Security Administration and assigned to the Amtrak Police Department in the Chicago area.
