CHICAGO (WLS) -- Nov. 1 is a key day for hundreds of thousands of people across Illinois.

It's the day open enrollment begins for health coverage under the Affordable Care Act. There are changes that people buying coverage will want to be aware of.

Some may be paying more and the penalties for not getting coverage will be rising. Even some of the companies selling plans here in Illinois are changing.
