CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Maggie Daley Park was lit up in pink Friday night to pay tribute to Chicago's former First Lady and kick off a breast cancer awareness campaign.
The "Light the Way to Find a Cure" campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of breast self-exams and regular mammograms to help catch breast cancer early.
Maggie Daley died from breast cancer in 2011.
The park is located in the Loop off Lake Shore Drive.
