A group of scientists now say it's possible to detect cancer with a simple test that takes just 10 minutes.

Right now, tests require doctors to do a biopsy. But there is a new method that is non-invasive.

Researchers say that just one drop of saliva can tell them whether the patient has a cancerous tumor. You wouldn't need a professional to do this test; it could be done at home.

The test is due to start clinical trials later this year.
