33rd Annual Hunger Walk steps off in Jackson Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands of people laced up their shoes Saturday to help fight hunger in the Chicago area.

The 33rd Annual Hunger Walk stepped off from Jackson Park and made its way to the lakefront. The walk supports local soup kitchens, food pantries and shelters.
