HUNTLEY, Ill. (WLS) -- Good news keeps coming for the animals living at a shelter in Huntley.
After the air conditioning failed at Animal House Shelter last week, ABC7 Chicago aired a story about the animals endangered by excessive heat.
ABC7 Chicago viewers quickly stepped up to raise nearly $30,000 to replace the system.
Since then, ARS/Rescue Rooter Illinois announced they will donate a system complete with air conditioning, fire detectors and cameras to the shelter.
